La gare du Mans se trouve sur la ligne de Paris-Montparnasse à Brest et fait partie d'un complexe ferroviaire, où aboutissent et partent les lignes du Mans à Mézidon, du Mans à Angers-Maître-École et de Tours au Mans. La gare possède une entrée « Nord », l'accès historique, et une entrée « Sud », créée lors de l’arrivée du TGV. La gare Nord permet un accès au centre-ville alors que la gare Sud permet l'accès au quartier d'affaires.
Le Mans railway station is located on the line Paris-Montparnasse to Brest and is part of a railway complex, where the lines from Le Mans to Mézidon, from Le Mans to Angers and from Tours to Le Mans. The station has a «North» entrance, the historic access, and a «South» entrance, created when the TGV arrived. The Gare North entrance provides access to the city centre while the South entrance provides access to the business district.
