La gare d'Haguenau est situé sur la ligne ferroviaire de Vendenheim à Wissembourg, ligne se poursuivant jusqu'à la frontière allemande. Le bâtiment voyageurs de la gare est détruit en 1944 lors de la libération de l'Alsace. Après le conflit un nouveau bâtiment est reconstruit au début des années 1960 et achevé en 1964. Au milieu des années 2010, la ville de Haguenau lance réaménagement de la gare et ses abords. Le nouveau bâtiment voyageurs ouvre au public le 28 avril 2021. Haguenau station is located on the railway line from Vendenheim to Wissembourg, a line continuing to the German border. The station's passenger building was destroyed in 1944 during the liberation of Alsace. After the conflict, a new building was rebuilt in the early 1960s and completed in 1964. In the mid-2010s, the city of Haguenau launched redevelopment of the station and its surroundings. The new passenger building opens to the public on April 28, 2021. The photos illustrating this article are from summer 2016, before the transformation of the station.
