La gare de Margival est située sur la ligne de Paris-Nord à Laon (ligne La Plaine à Anor - frontière belge). La gare fut détruite par les Allemands en mars 1917 lors de leur retrait sur la ligne Hindenburg. Une gare provisoire en bois fut construite après l'armistice et fut remplacée par la suite par l'actuelle gare.
Margival railway station is located on the railway line from Paris-Nord to Laon. (railway line from La Plain to Anor, closed to Belgian border. The station was destroyed by the Germans in March 1917 during their withdrawal on the Hindenburg line. A temporary wooden station was built after the Armistice and was later replaced by the current station.
